The Language and Literature Club of ICACS organized a workshop titled "Learn English with Fun" for 11th and 12th-grade students at Srimati Anusai Ovhal Junior College, Punawale. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Mitesh Kolhapure, Assistant Professor in English, and Ms. Anuja Thube, Coordinator of Arts & Assistant Professor in English, who engaged the students with informative and interactive activities. The session focused on enhancing the English language and communication skills of junior college students through these interactive exercises.
Dr. Anand Jumle, Principal of ICACS, in his opening remarks, highlighted the growing importance of communication skills. With an increasing number of Indian students pursuing education abroad, proficiency in communication, especially in English, opens up numerous opportunities. He also emphasized that knowledge of regional languages further enhances these prospects.
ICACS students Asmita Swami, Pratibha Singh, Bhoomi, and Suryakant Verma gained practical experience while assisting junior college students, which will benefit them in their future careers. The interactive approach made learning both enjoyable and effective for everyone.
